It's hard for me to pin point the exact moment when I decided to do it but around November 2013 I bought a new pair of running shoes at a sidewalk sale and a nutribullet and somehow that gave me enough motivation to make a new years resolution to lose 30 lbs in 6 months. So I joined a gym and hired a personal trainer which was exactly what I needed. I utilized a PT for 6 months to help me understand how to safely workout and when to work what muscles. I highly suggest hiring someone who is certified and can help guide through the correct movements and routines. Anyways, after I started seeing results in the first month, it gave me more motivation to keep going and I became hooked. I completely changed the way I was eating and making sure I was getting enough sleep at night.
I love the energy it gives me and the high/rush I get. It's a clean high and helps subside my daily stresses from work. I love looking in the mirror and seeing the progress, remembering what it's taken to come this far and to not stop here.
