I got sick of not doing anything about the way I looked. It was affecting my ego, my happiness and many other things. I felt depressed due to being overweight and I wanted a change so I started lifting. I have been in and out of it for a long time with crash diets. I have recently learned a lot about myself and the flaws that kept me from achieving my goals. I have learned to not trust the scale for it does not know if your weight is due to water, muscle or fat. Measurements and pictures are the best way to track progress as the scale can lead to disappointment and discouragement! I have recently started my journey to making my routine and eating habits a lifestyle! It just didn't make any sense to go on with these on and off diets only to lose the results I gained and have to do it all over again! Now that I have been sticking with my routine and eating habits I feel better than ever! Working out just takes me to a whole new level with a great sense of euphoria!
