I used to play sports in high school. I was an outstanding athlete but once I left the structured environment of school, I was forced to begin my own program and use techniques I had learned. I took to working out like a fish to water. I love the way a good pump makes me feel, and when I'm stressed out from work or home- the gym is my sanctuary. Not all days are good ones-- and sometimes I hate having to lift. But there are far more positives in my life than negatives since I began not only taking my training seriously, but making it personal as well.
Working out offers me a chance to focus on me. In today's tech driven world we are always so concerned with the latest app, latest update, etc.. Working out gives me a chance to take an hour or two away from the screen and focus on forming my body into the machine I want it to be. I can mold my muscles into the shape I desire. The results are amazing and after seeing some real results the first time, I was hooked. Now all I want is more!
