I first started hitting the gym after I had several personal issues pop up and some tough life decisions. I was inspired to try and take control of atleast some portion of my life, and my body and health was the option I chose to tighten up on. I signed up for Planet Fitness and started aimlessly exercising 3-4 days a week when I could. My boss at the time was a daily lifter and was always coming in from the gym or heading there after work, so I starting taking some of his advice both exercise and diet wise. After a slow process of refining workouts and discovering the importance of macros and dietary needs, I started making progress putting on muscle and adding weight to my skinny frame. Once I found the 12 week Gethin plan, I got hooked in and stuck to it, the results stuck and hitting the gym and staying fit has become an involuntary habit. =)
