First it was just about teaching classes. Then I started training people but deep down inside, I really wanted to compete but didn't know how. It took a knee injury in 2010 to get me to realize if I didn't set a goal and follow through, it will never happen. Now I am hooked and I won't stop!

I love bodybuilding because I am amazed on how the body reacts differently each time I do a show. I love people's reaction when I tell them how old I am and how I stay in shape. I am grateful that I get to use the the athletic grace and ability that I have been blessed with. Bodybuilding is the accessory I use to help me with my CrossFit workouts. The two play hand in hand.

I love working out because it puts me in a better mood. I release stress and readjust my attitude after a really good workout.
