I've always wanted to be fit. My family has always led that lifestyle but I never followed suit. My childhood was difficult, which I brought into my early 20's with drinking & partying. I realized that if I didn't fix what was going on in my head & adjust how I look at my body, I'm not going to age too gracefully. God has given me many chances & I need to heed the gifts I am given. I battle everyday with laziness, lack of discipline but I will continue to push myself forward!

I love the feeling of lifting something heavy. The iron doesn't lie. It tells you when you're weak, and it tells you when you're strong. The iron is there for me whenever I need it.
