I started lifting in 2006 when I started training in taekwondo. After 3 years I relocated and was two belts away from my black belt. I've gone through a lot in 5 years and let my weight get away from me. Now that I am older I want to get back to my ideal weight and earn my black belt. I am not use to sitting around idle and love to compete. I would like to get to a place where I can compete in a fitness competition, but until I see results that is just a dream; however, my goal is to get this weight off first, then on to the next phase.
I love bodybuilding because it is a stress reliever for me. I love the way I feel after a workout and I feel that I have accomplished a goal. Weightlifting makes me want to work harder and push myself to see if I can get to the next level. I love to see the ladies that transform and those that compete, it makes me want to get out there and do it.
