Over the last several years I have had several surgeries. The worst was a Femoropopliteal Bypass (Fem-Pop Bypass) on my right leg in 2005. I am a smoker and have not been active for almost 16 years. I know that my health is a ticking time bomb. My husband has always been active and started researching the web for weight lifting and strength training. He emailed me several articles that inspired me to change my habits. We got a gym membership and started going 5 days a week. I have been taking a spinning class 3 days a week but I only lost 20 pounds. Then I started looking at Bodybuilding with my husband and learned that diet and weight lifted are an important part to transforming my body and reaching my goals.
Everyday I feel stronger. Going to the gym in the morning starts my day off with a positive outlook and night workouts release stress. I love throwing on my headphones and going to a place for only me. The passion for lifting is building everyday. The "I can't do that" attitude is gone and each milestone is an awesome feeling.
