I have always been an athletic girl -- softball, soccer, basketball, horseback riding, LAX, whatever, I love playing it. During the winter I would go to the gym when I wasn't outside and used the weight room having some mediocre knowledge to what I was doing. Bicep curl here, lat pull down there, what the heck lets do some leg presses, whatever, or I would take a class, just to get me moving during the holidays. Also for awhile I liked running and was really getting into it over the past few years. I started to run 5K's but nothing more than a 5K....what is that marathon crap? ;)
I have had my fair share of trainers. I had two bodybuilding coaches once. I love bodybuilding but my mind just wasn't in the right place. Now I work out for fun. Lift when I want. Run when I want. Eat what I want in moderation. I just have fun. I have had the most success since August 2014 because I am doing it because I want to do it and not forcing myself to do something I don't want to do. I do plan to enter into a bikini comp in October of 2015 but only if I am ready. I am not going to set myself up for failure. If I reach it great. If I am still working on it, heck, I am going to keep going.
