I used to be an NCAA Division 1 pole vault athlete in collage, and after dislocating my shoulders (yes both) a number of times I had to find some other sport to throw myself into. I began with local body building competitions and didn't place as well as I wanted. I set my sights towards figure competitions, and began training. Part way through my first season I found out I was pregnant. Competition training and diet are not conducive with being pregnant or breastfeeding. I successfully competed twice before expecting child #2. I now have two beautiful boys and I'm back in the gym. Now I am on the journey to return to figure competitions and hopefully make it pro before I'm 30.
I have a high work tolerance, or in other words loads of energy. I feel out of balance if I don't get a workout in, and I'm a much happier person with the physiological changes that come along with a hard exercise. So in other words I NEED to exercise.
