Like so many, I was an athlete through my late 20s who's life spun out of control. Multiple pregnancies, injuries, steroids for one bad injury....the wrong guys, the wrong places, the wrong jobs meant sleep deprivation and generalized depression from not feeling like me. It doesn't matter how much trauma and drama I endured, (and there was a lot), bottom line is I got fat and couldn't do the things I loved: climbing, biking, hiking, running, scuba diving.... finally I said enough; now for some hard work, dedication and perseverance.

I am not there now, but I remember what it was like to feel like a machine... I will be there again, I will climb Denali, life's too short not to make my dreams a reality.
