Fitness has always been a huge part of my life! From softball and track and field in high school to flipping tires and running sprints as an adult, being healthy and fit has always been something I've strived for. I started teaching group fitness classes at 19 during college and throughout nursing school. In 2010, with encouragement from my friends and family, I decided I would become a CPT. I was enjoying life and helping so many people become the best they could be, helping them improve their lives in so many ways. However, in September 2013 I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. No health history, family history, or any risks factors. After a radical hysterectomy, 6 weeks of chemo and pelvic radiation I was in remission in January 2014. Since then, I have worked very hard to figure out how this new body of mine works and responds to different foods and exercises. Being menopausal @ 29 was a bit rough to say the least. The abdominal scar you see in the picture is my battle scar! I am a Christian, a wife, a mama to 2 beautiful girls, a homeschooler, an encourager, and a survivor!
Lifting weights and working out is my therapy, favorite hobby, and lifestyle! Live, love, lift ðŸâªðŸ»
