I have always enjoyed lifting but with very little time with my family I have never really hit it hard. Then Oct of 2012 I took a 25ft fall out of a tree and landed on my left side. I actually walked away from it with a bruised ego only, so I thought. 6 months later I was told I have Cervical and Lumbar Disk Disease. These are present in everyone depending on age however the tree fall only progressed mine along at a quicker rate. Also I have nerve entrapment in the hips from the shifting of my body upon landing. Since then I have also been told I have Anxiety which is related to the fall. I am tired of all the pain and sitting around at home.
I enjoy the gym because I can push myself and get away from normal life. With the changes my body has made over the last year I need this relief time. I know I will not be lifting heavy but as long as I can tighten and add definition back to my body and be happy and have less pain in my then I will be very happy.
