2013 was a major turning point in my life where my body faced numerous challenges and dramatic changes to reach to the level that I am at today. My first gym session took place on the 1st November 2012, I was weighing 59 KG with a low body fat rate. At that point my main target was to increase my weight naturally through diet and training, keeping away from artificial substances such as steroids to fit my height 175 cm. At the beginning I used to train for up to 3 hours a day as an amateur who does not know the basics behind bodybuilding. I spent 3 months training that way and my weight hadn't even increased by half a kilograms , from that I Realized that I was doing something wrong and I started to do a lot of research in relation to bodybuilding from various sources, such as fitness websites like Bodybuilding.com , M&S , Cut&Jacked , and a youtube fitness Videos (joey Gloor , steve cook , greg plitt, marc fitt , mike chang , jeff said ) whether it was English or Arabic websites or videos I would research deeper and deeper every time and I realised that I was training in a completely wrong form. From there on I decided that a big change was needed in my training schedule and my diet. In Kuwait I bought a dietary supplement (5kg ON serious mass , N.O explode , Omega 3 , multivitamins ) on the 9th February 2013 and I started to train regularly and intensively, keeping away from over training. I also paid more attention to my diet, I would make sure I was eating the right food to give me 4000 calories per day.
The days and months passed by to 25th May 2013 and my weight had reached 69 kilogrammes, which was a 10 KG increase in four months and a small increase in body fat. I was extremely satisfied with my progress and I was very determined to progress further and I set an aim for myself to become a personal trainer one day, helping and assisting teenagers and adults to become fit and happy with their bodies and healthy, in particular in the middle east . I returned to Egypt for my university exams and with a weak diet, between 25th May 2013 to 9th August 2013, my weight did not increase, not even by a milligram. The main reason to that was my poor diet, and the pressure I had because of my exams . After my exams finished, I returned to my usual routine, diet and training wise however, this time I avoided using any kind of supplements , I purely relied on a natural diet and with that I managed to increase my weight by 6 kg from August until the end of 2013 . The year ended, and I have made great progression, increasing my weight by 16 KG in approximately 14 months. From the start of 2014 I will be joining the army for 13 months and I hope that this does not adversely affect the progress on my bodybuilding and that what I achieved in the past 14 months will not go down the drain.A lot of my friends used to encourage and inspire my progress, however some used to attempt to weaken my faith in progressing, but i never ever let it affect me and i didnt let their negative words affect me in a bad way, i worked harder to prove them wrong. However, my determination to change the shape of my body for the better has made me very happy to continue and achieve the best ... This is not the end, but it is just the beginning!
