I was 17 years old, overweight at 280 and hated the way i looked, my uncle got me into the atkins diet, i dropped to 160..yup i went overboard on the diet, my dad gave me a bodybuilding magazine I saw some great physiques and i actually wanted to look like some of the pros. From there I started benching at my cousins house..I could barely bench the bar back then LOL!! I had a pair of 20lb dumbells at home, every morning before school I would do bicep, tricep and some forearm work, for chest I would do dumbell presses on my house speaker haha i was pretty weak back then. On christmas though I got a Weider bench and this time I could lift seriously, all i would do was bench and curls it took me about 2 months or so before I could put up the big 135, I was on my PSP and randomly typed in BodyBuilding.com..didnt even know the site existed, I started reading articles and got started on Rippetoes starting strength after that my strength and size went up and these days im maxing out 315+ on bench and curling ALOT more than 20lbs.
I just love lookin good and staying fit, going to the gym is the best part about life for me if I ever miss a day i'd feel all sick, its a huge part of my life and totally dedicated to the iron
