I've been playing sports all my life. My journey has been plagued by a lot of stops and go, trying to find the right answers for my body and unique issues, finally after being officially diagnosed with PCOS and Hypothyroidism in 2015. Before that, I started from child athlete-> teen athlete-> college clean eating and finally started lifting and heavy supplementation-> now Paleo/organic/whole eating, heavy complex barbell lifts/body part splits (heavy and high volume) and little supplementation. My focus now is to keep muscle, cut fat-especially cortisol belly. I basically have a muscular fat situation and have to try to find the best balance between training HARD and REST. I enjoy challenges and accomplishing them.
why yes, yes I am quoting from Men's Health of all places, sums up a lot though, "When you evolve, you don't forfeit old skills. You just add new ones and form a potent mix"
