Growing up, I've always been into sports and martial arts. I participated in football and wrestling while attending High School. My success on the mat propelled me through college by earning an athletic scholarship to wrestle for Campbellsville University. My education on nutrition grew so much more after college. It's almost like a light came on everything just clicked. I began to appreciate the power of knowledge and being able to apply what I've learned for my benefit and gain. Initially, I thought to myself if I were to run into someone who was packing some serious muscle and just shredded to the bone; naturally I'd think they knew something I didn't. That obviously they were doing something right and were withholding information that I clearly didn't have. But after thinking about it, it hit me. If I expect someone in shape to know how to get into shape, then how could I expect others not to think the same of me? if I wanted to be in the same shape, I knew I needed to educate myself on proper nutrition and training methods. I truly believe this was where I grew into my best self. I was much happier and noticing heads turning whenever I walked in the room. Needless to say, I'm not in that type of shape anymore. Your probably wondering what happened, right? long story short, I quit. I stopped working out and eating healthy. I feel like I just lost the drive to do it. But now I'm happy to say the drive is back and here to stay. I've decided to chase my dream of being a 2016 Olympic Champion. I have chose to compete in the 96 kg Freestyle Division. I also will be attempting to pursue a gold medal in the Greco Roman Division and in Judo. My plan of attack, become unstoppable!
