I played sports all through middle school and high school up until my junior year, i was never above 180lb. My junior year i had a lot of personal problems and things happening around me that i really just let get to me. my weight quickly skyrocketed as i quit playing sports and quit eating healthy. I Joined the army in 2010 where i relearned my obsession with fitness and wanting to be above standard. I quickly started working on shedding my obsessive amounts of fat and dropped my weight from a previous 240 to a leaner 170. after that i started working on training 6 days a week, i got up to 200lbs and maintained around 13% bodyfat. In april2012 i was injured in a incident in the military which left me unable to train at all for 10 months. Depressingly my weight dropped from 210lbs down to 165lbs. I looked sick, i couldn't handle it anymore so in febuary13 i made it my mission to get back into the shape i was before. I am limited on training legs from my injury so they only get trained with physical therapy. I am not at 180% floating around 9-10% body fat and in the best shape of my life, my nutrition, motivation and dedication could never be higher.
I love training because it gives me a release from the outside world, it is a passion and a hobby for me. I never have to wake up dreading to go train, i wake up every morning thinking i couldn't make it to the gym any quicker. For me its something that comes naturally because i do not like to be average, i love progression and i love pushing myself further than yesterday... and to me thats what it is all about.
