I started weighlifting 8 years ago on a daily basis, 6-7 days a week and I loved it!
I fell off track after about 4 months of training when I got bronchitis and wasn't able to train for a while. I then hit law school and time/effort/motivation were just lacking. I allowed myself to gain 40lbs and reached an all time high of 185lbs. After unsuccessful dieting to lower my weight, I knew I had to pick up my old gym habits again to regain the physique I once had. That was 4 years ago.
I changed my diet to clean, eating, basically a paleo diet. I started with boot camps and progressed to heavy weights to bodybuilding routines and a little over a year after I started I lost all the weight I had gained and then some and had gained lots of muscle definition and size. I reached 143lbs last summer and was pretty muscular and was feeling more confident than ever.
Around the month of January 2013, I hit some personal issues and a heavy work load and lost the motivation to go to the gym consistently... I have since gained back 10lbs and I need to stop the upward swing in its tracks! I want to get back to where I was! 10lbs isn't alot, but it seems monumental sometimes!
I created this profile because I want to push myself to be accountable and get my butt back to the gym. Having a venue where I can track my progress and get back in the bodybuilding mentality and lifestyle with other ppl of like mind will be a great help.
