I started working out when I was 17 years old. I was a hardcore soccer fan and played in the school league. But my small frame hinder me from much physical contacts. I went on to join up the gym with one of my best friend and we started working out since.
It was a good gym and they were staffed with ripped trainers. I hired a few trainers myself to get different point of views from each of them. Sometimes I would go and exchange ideas with my friend on how to improve and get results from our workout. Unfortunately I had to end my workout just few months later and moved overseas.
When I left overseas I tried to join gym on many occasions. The problem is truthfully, I wasn't a disciplined individual. I wasn't as hungry, ambitious and determined as now. I failed to joined any gym or performing any kind of workout since the day I left my hometown. For few years I was just being totally unhealthy eating junks and not exercising.
By the time I got in Australia I managed to joined a gym. But I never even went once to that gym. Both me and my best friend were procrastinating ourselves. We decided to end that gym membership and continue being a typical college kids with alcohols and bizarre sleep timings.
21st April 2013 I happened to get my fire back to go workout. I went through difficult and depressing family situation. I told my best friend to get started with the gym routine. I searched through YouTube videos and articles online which made me inspired. That day we went for a 7 days trial for gym and actually started working out.
Five weeks have passed since that day. Both me and my friend have been pushing ourselves in the gym. I felt a difference, the 17 years old me and the 24 years old me. I am now hungry, ambitious and dedicated to gym. I totally felt one quote I read on health magazine somewhere " Working out is the only 24/7 sport, when you are not in the gym you have to look out for yourself".
Now my life is different. I am dedicated and always been researching when I'm not around in the gym. One of the most important thing I ever found out was the importance of dieting and sleeping. Two biggest flaw that I had when I was a teenager. I have been researching every night on workout, diet and other aspects of body building.
If there is any experienced body builder out there don't mind giving me some tips and advice, please drop me a message. Hopefully one day I can be just like one of you guys and help others who are lacking of knowledge in body building. Body building got into me like how soccer did. I will put all my effort into this.
I did mentioned I'm a hardcore soccer fan. I was playing soccer because it was my passion. Not long after I saw how my coach played real way of soccer. Unselfish passes and teamwork. The aim is to provide the team the victory.
Very much the same with body building to me. It's a team game. Everyone shares their ideas and opinion to help each other. Well at least that's how it is to me personally. For example, I would feel half satisfied with my successful body result if my gym partner not getting his. While in the case of me and my gym partner getting the result we wanted, I would see it as a double victory.
