I have always been very motivated in and around the gym all through highschool and college. Recently I have decided to stop all the excuses and get in the best shape of my life. I started in January of 2012 in the hopes of competing in my first show. I was doing great until I blew out my ACL in my left knee. I received surgery and now am approx. 13 weeks out. I have returned to lifting weights and living for the next workout! With Gods help, "all things are possible!" Now with an entire year of re-building my body, learning and applying I am ready for my first show in September of 2014.
I love bodybuilding because I think its the ultimate showcase of ones own determination, dedication and consistency. We all have excuses ALL the time and I am done hearing all of them. I love the fact that we can transform our bodies simply by getting it in our heads and holding nothing back. The feeling you get after a heavy heavy leg day is like no other! I also think there is a calming spiritual side to working out and this just makes me feel better no matter what life throws at you.
Although I am not a professional by any means (I actually work in law enforcement) I am taking this fitness and nutrition passion to the next level. I am obtaining my certified personal training degree soon and will also be enrolling in a sports nutrition degree program. My dream and passion is to open up my own fitness and wellness center with my wife. We love helping people and help them reach their goals and true potential; that's what life is all about!
