I met these two very muscular, well built brothers when I was around in the 7th grade. These brothers were both in HS, one in 9th and the other in 11th. They had very large biceps and impressive overall bodies. I wanted to be like them, so I started working out a little and started training my biceps. I was inconsistent in the the 7th, 8th, and 9th grade, but I finally started to pick it up this summer. I have been very dedicated to what workouts to do and what I put in my body. I desire a great body.
There are so many reasons why I enjoy working out.
-It makes me feel very confident. I was a little guy in the 7th grade, around 5'4" and 135 pounds (I was stick skinny at the time). Now, I am 17 and shot up to 6'0" and I have gained about 10 pounds this summer. That extra muscle makes me feel better about myself.
-Look better in clothes.
-Healthy. I run and also do bodybuilding.
-Sets goals. I can be working out, instead of watching something or playing video games.
-The after effects of working out. I love the pump I feel and I like it when my veins are throbbing. I love how when I sprint the last couple of laps when I am running and feel like I am going to pass out, but I don't quit and finish my exercise. Nothing else gives you this feeling.
-Complements basketball. I play bball and gaining muscle and running more effective can be a big advantage.
-Encourages people around me. That healthy guy also encourages others to be like him. I have had people who wanted to work out with me and I gladly have. I would love to help someone get into shape.
That about sums it up.
