In high school I was the flyer in cheerleading which means the lighter you are the higher you can be tossed. Also I competed in some local pageants during this time. In order to stay under 105 lbs I ate very little. My freshman year of college I could no longer eat that way and went the opposite direction gaining weight fast. The weight gain made me depressed as I had always been the thin pretty cheerleader so I saw the weight continue to creep on over time till I reached 145 lbs. I transferred colleges and decided to get a personal trainer and I dropped down to 125 lbs. My trainer was such an inspiration that I changed my major to Exercise Science and soon became a trainer myself focusing on women who wanted to lose weight or improve their health. When I moved I still continued to teach bootcamp until my job in outside sales became too stressful and time consuming.
