I wanted to lose weight freshman year of college and began running anywhere from 5-10 miles 5 days a week. After a while I hit a plateau that I could not get past. I started lifting weights shortly after that when I did P90x for the first time. I loved feeling strong, and I wanted to get stronger. I did insanity the spring of 2013, when I didn't have access to weights. Then, in the summer of 2013 I got more serious about lifting. I can't imagine running 5 or more miles a day anymore. When I get to the gym, I hit the weights, and love every second of it. Weight loss is no longer my primary goal. I want to keep getting stronger and live a fit and healthy life.

I love feeling strong. I love the burn. I love being sore the day after a good session in the gym. I love pushing my body to its limits, and I can't wait to see how much stronger I can become.
