I was interested in gaining size and muscle in late high school. I continued to work out the "beach muscles" for the next 10 years with no real goal. I decided in 2008 I wanted to do a body building show. I competed several times and eventually switched to the new "Menâs Physique" category. As time went on I lost my drive to work out for a competition. Now I train daily for my health. I want to be healthy and in great shape to be active with my kids and hopefully grandkids one day. I train for tomorrow not today.
There is nothing more rewarding then setting a goal to get in better shape and accomplishing that goal. Your body is an amazing gift and when you treat it as so you will find so much happiness and purpose. People too often take their body for granted and then act surprised when their body fights back. Taking care of your body, learning to be healthier, and staying committed to doing so will make anyone love working out.
