Junior High is where most of us get started and it's no different with me. I played basketball, football, and ran track. After High School it was off to work and College and trying to fit in fitness and nutrition amidst all these priorities. After years of see sawing back and forth I find myself picking it back up and getting jacked like never before.
I've been blessed much of my life and like you have been presented with many challenges that have taken a little time to work through. When one challenge ends another begins, and I've realized that life can improve and we can grow as individuals during these times. While working through these challenges I've consistently been pulled back to the gym. It's in this "Me Time" when all the world fades away. I disappear within myself, growing quiet, still, and focused. No thinking about life, politics, problems, anything, except for one thing - Me. It's here where I am challenged the most to dig deep into my mental fortitude, my physical resolve, my absolute will and to rise above myself - do I give in and give up?, or do I push one more out and overcome that would be mental and physical block. Why do I love working out - because its me against me and no one else, and every time I step into that gym I know I'm not going to fail myself.
