During my childhood years, I played sports like football, basketball, and baseball. Fast forward to my teenage years, I decided to pursue football as a full time sports passion. So, I played football throughout high school and made it to the Division 2 college level. There, I got more serious with the weight lifting. I was serious before but not like the way I was in college. After 2 years of playing college football, I left the school due to personal issues and came back home. During that time, in 2010, I went to the gym, planning on becoming a powerlifter or at least to stay in shape. After training for 6 months, some older bodybuilders came up to me and asked me am I a bodybuilder. I told them no and what's bodybuilding. They explained to me a little about it and told me to do my own research. After doing my research in January of 2011, I thought about it and then on January 22, 2011, the day I made this bodyspace profile, was the same day I decided to pursue bodybuilding and see how far I could go. That day, I fell in love with natural bodybuilding.
There are many reasons why I love bodybuilding. The first reason is the competitive edge that it gives me. I love the fact that I'm able to push my body to the absolute limit through diet and exercise really intrigues me. The next thing I love about it is that it promotes and allows me to live a healthy lifestyle. When I was playing college football, I wasn't living a healthy lifestyle but now, I eat clean and take care of my body and mind every day. The next thing about it is the fact that It has taught me a lot of good things that I'm able to put into practice in my own personal life such as the hard work, dedication, perseverance, time management, organization and so on. Lastly, I just love how much fun I have in the gym.
