Like a lot of young guys, started lifting as a teenager, trying to look good for the girls. Loved the feeling of getting pumped up, stronger, bigger. When the demands of family life took over, so ended that phase. Fast forward to mid 40's, divorced, out of shape with a health scare. Decided then and there to begin lifting again, get healthy and start feeling good again. Started out lifting in my garage gym, then decided to join a commercial gym in 2012.
Is there a better feeling than watching your body change for the better, to see muscular curves and lines replace fat blobs and rolls. To have that amazing feeling of the pump, which Arnold so famously described years ago, of seeing muscle wanting to burst through your skin. Knowing that age is irrelevant, keep lifting forever and looking better than people half your age. And of course, to look really darn good naked! :D
