I've been working out on & off since I was 16 yrs old. I could see from a very young age that my genetical makeup was different than others. I always had a very definable body that I could really jack up if I just spent some time in the gym. Then I met my husband who at the time was serving as an Army Ranger.
Now my body went into massive mode with him training me when he was home, which wasn't much, but I still kept thru it and have always been drug free my entire like. Hard for some to believe I know by looking at my pictures but I truly am.
Then I had 3 wonderful children and as most moms know your priorities seem to change a little. lol. When my husband finally released himself from active duty we were able to get back in the gym as partners and we've been doing so for the past 8 years. But I will admit my gym time will sometimes only be 2-4 days a week but I keep the intensity very high.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it! lol
I truly love working out because once I step inside the gym and put on my headphones it's 'me time'. Due to my schedule it might be 10-11pm before I'm able to go but I cherish the 'quiet battle' between myself, my husband who gives me no quarter, and those pieces of iron.
In my mind it's kind of poetic what I go thru during the day to end the day in a battle with an iron bar & weights. But I love it! I just need to be more consistent with my workouts & diet.
