I started lifting weights because through out most of my life I was completely overweight. I'm talking about since I was maybe 8 years old. I was overweight all through my elementary, middle, and high school years. I didn't really know what bullying was back then but now that I look back I was a victim to bullying. Being bullied wasn't my main reason why I started working out but it's a huge motivation factor. The main reason why I started working out was because I wanted to change. I was tired of being a meat ball with legs. I wanted to challenge myself and make a change for the good. along with being bullied and wanting to change, my family, has a huge history with diabetes and being overweight and I sure don't want to follow in their foot steps. This is the short version of how I got started doing what I now love to do.
I love bodybuilding because I love the feeling before, while, and after I workout. I cant explain the feeling but it's a great feeling of satisfaction and happiness, if that makes sense. I loved it even more when I started seeing results from my hard work and dedication to my workouts and dieting. I want to pursue a career in bodybuilding and build upon that.
