started working out with weights in h.s. I remember looking thru Muscle & Fitness and seeing pictures of Bob Paris, Rachel McLish and Cory Everson; so I starting working out with weights wanting to look like them. I have not been a true gym rat in over 20+ years.. now is time!
Crawl before you walk and walk before you run.!!!
so I am taking this advice:
"Don't go into the gym on January 1st nursing a hangover and try to bench double your bodyweight. Take a jog, go light, get used to being there. Take the first couple weeks to just ease yourself into the lifestyle, crawl before you walk and walk before you run."
I am going at my pace and then when I need the extra push I will have to bust my butt even further, but for now I need to get back into the swing of things as it has been a LONG time and get my body & lungs use to the riggerous workouts.
