In December 2008 I weighed 15 stone and was looking a mess, at that point i decided enough was enough and started dieting. Not long after this i started working out at my local gym and got the bug, i loved it! It is now my ambition to create a body i am proud of and maybe at some point in the future compete in a bodybuilding contest. In December 2017 I ripped out my shoulder for the 3rd time, this time causing extensive damage, I snapped one of my rotator cuffs and tore another, had bankart and hill sachs fracture as well as tearing my labrum all the way around which obviously needed surgery. Leading up to and after the surgery I was quite down and piled on the pounds and when I was finally getting back into it the pandemic started which stopped me attending the gym and once again derailed me. Just as I was again gaining motivation in October 2020 my Mum caught Covid-19 and sadly passed away 2 weeks later, she was only 66 and she was otherwise healthy, she had always been my rock through thick and thin and this once again totally derailed me and I gained at least a stone of fat from drinking heavy and eating takeaways pretty much every day. Now I am back and determined to get this weight off, not only for my physical health but also my mental health as the past events have shaken me to my core. Due to the severity of my past injuries I may never step foot on stage as a bodybuilder but I can at least dream big, lets get this weight off, gain back the lost muscle and start feeling good wearing my own body. Lets go!
