How I Started:
A friend of mine got me into the gym during the summer before my junior year in college. I was amazed at how many compliments I got when I went back to school in the fall.
Why I Love It:
I love the overall feeling of being in shape. I love the challenge of hitting the goals I set for myself in the gym.
How I Stay Motivated:
I want to as healthy as I can for myself and my family.
BB Accomplishments:
I trimmed down to 7% back in 2001. Benched 315 during a contest at my home gym.

Goal (Long):
I would like to add lean muscle and lose bodyfat I have gained over the past couple of years. I am currently 6'1 and weigh 210-215 pounds. My bodyfat is approximately 18% currently. It is my goal to get my bodyfat down to 10% while keeping my weight above 200 pounds.

I have been for the past few weeks battling a sore shoulder.  At this point I'm quite sure it's a rotator cuff issue... you see I used to play a lot of baseball and did a great deal of pitching when I was younger, so I have a good idea of this type of pain.   I'm not exactly sure what to...

Just wanted to say Good Morning. I am so excited to have a nice comfortable day here in RI. Running in the humidity has been hurting the ole lungs. Did a 5K last night in MA. Took 2 min off my time. How have you been?

Thanks! You'll get there with your kids. My wife was a big fan of the book Baby Wise with all 6 of our kids. Really helps with schedules and getting them to sleep through the night.

I remember those times. Luckily, my kids sleep until about 8 each day now, so I can get my workout in before I go to work. I would rather workout in the evenings because I think I would be more alert, but it's all kids at that time of the day!
