How I Started:
Started with a couple friends in college, but they didn't really know what they were doing...so neither did I. The last year I have learned a ton and am enjoying every bit of it.
Why I Love It:
Stress relief. I am also a goal-setter, so setting lifting goals and accomplishing them kind'a gets me off.
How I Stay Motivated:
I try to lift with a steady group of friends. Adds a competitive element and keeps it interesting and social.
BB Accomplishments:
Put on 40lbs and stayed lean this year...but, that's not all that uncommon.

Finishing up a 12-week powerlifting routine this week. Its been interesting. Now its time to get back to more "bodybuilding" type exercises and use some of this new strength to get more size and definition.
Goal (Long):
I am trying to strengthen my core lifts, but focusing mainly on squats and deadlifts. I have really neglected these in the past, mostly because I'm a mountain-biker and my legs (I felt) were of decent size already and, in the case of deadlifts, just had never done them correctly before.
I've lost a little bit of power in my bench, but a lot of that has to do with doing things correctly and strengthening aux muscles and joints. In the next 2 months or so I look forward to using some of this power and size and switching over to bodybuilding style workouts again.
Great looking progress man!! You have come a long way. Sick SICK SICK pecs man and your abs are really starting to come a long ways! I would die to have a chest like yours and arms! ;)
you look bigger than me im only 190lbs but im 5'8" so i guess it makes me look thick, hope so any way lol you got some good solid mass dude keep up the good work.
