Let's see where to begin...
WellI always get asked what got me into training but more importantly competing. Well it is pretty simpls, my boyfrined dumped me. Now this wasn't a "revenge" tactic but more a "make me feel better" move. You see I didn't like that I needed a "man" or relationship to make me feel all the things thatI should befeeling about myself as a single female.
I contacted a friend (IFBB Pro Nina Luckha) and asked her if she would be my trainer to get me back into shape and find my self-confidence. Well Nina had other plans, she was molding me for,what will be now my first Figure show (where I won btw). 6mn of training later I stepped out on that stage, strutted my stuff & took home the 1st place trophy. What was the best feeling was running into my ex in the audience afterwards. Ahhh how I love Karma.
After my first show I guess you can say I was hook, line and sinker....about 7 followed that one :)
Now for the motivation part of this...it's not the trophies or the $ b/c I don't get any $ & the trophies are nice butare hiding away in my spare room. For me what motivates me is finding out my strength, courage, motivation, focus, dedication and determination that comes from training and living a healthy lifestyle. It is soooo empowering, especially for a female. I love how being healthy from the inside exudes being healthy and happy on the soutside.
I have managed to encourage family members & friends to encorporate a healthy lifestyle and showed them that it can be FULL of food, healthy, yummy food and you can have fun with it too.
Now don't get me wrong, the final product is also motivating enough for me...damn I can't wait tobe able to put on AnY articlae of clothing and make it look HOT!!!!!
