Background
I began lifting seriously on my 2nd deployment in Iraq and fell in love with it. I came back and my buddies gave it up but not me. I kept at it and over 4yrs now I have gained over 45lbs! Once I started I knew there was no turning back.....
I love it so much that I received my master certification as a Personal Trainer through ISSA. I believe that exercise makes you focus and concentrate more which helps you in other aspects in your everyday life. It has so many positive effects on your body and your life. Ive never met a person who said after working out for a solid month that they don't like the way they look or feel. Its not a negative habit like drugs, alcohol, and smoking. The information that is on weightlifting and exercising is so easy to find and the network of people out there who share the same goals as you is unbelievable!

If anyone has any ideas I am willing to listen and try them out.
Also how much red meat should I eat a week? Ive heard from so many different sources that you can have it every day, once a week, only 3 times a day..etc. Im just asking fo
...New Workout Shoes
Posted in Other : Feb 14, 2012 2:05pmWell Hello everyone,
I recently bought some new workout shoes for my Valentine's day gift. They are the polo version of the converse all star high tops. They were only $21.38 including tax as where the converse were over $45.00. I bought them for the sole purpose of lifting heavy weights on a flat shoe sole. I will not be doing any cardio in them period! lol
I have seen people in the gym wearing them and doing dead lifts and squats (compound exercises w/heavy weights) and I thought I might try it out. I don't like the Fila or Vibram five f

I think I did really good but every time I get this feeling after a test I end up doing really bad. Hopefully I will pass it with flying colors. Now I need to set up an appointment with the red cross so I can get my CPR/AED certification.
