Overall Goal: I give myself 2 years to complete my goal of going from a size 16 to a size 3. I am only 4'10", so that's not an unrealistic size for me....Okay, now it's December, and I have lost about 38 lbs. I feel great and the aches and pains are gone.

I used to strength train in highschool. I always liked it. It's the only way I get results and I guess I'm going through a mid-life crisis because I want my old body back. I figured the only way to do that was to have the same activity as when I was a teenager. So that's how I got back into it.
Why I Love It:
I love feeling strong. I hate feeling week. I like to pick up a bale of hay like it's nothing, that way it feels like less work. My horses respect my added strengh and they can tell that I am a more confident leader for them.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just keep picturing myself at my target weight and size.
BB Accomplishments:
I've lost 37-40 pounds. I still look pretty fat. My arms seem huge to me, I don't like it. My bicep circumfrence is almost as big as my husbands.

Goal (Long):
When I was a teenager, I weight trained and was very strong. We lived on a farm and I pitched hay regularly. I still live on a farm, but after having four beautiful children by C-section, my body looks like a 70yr old obese woman. I hurt all over all the time. I wake up stoved up and I can't even walk for the pain in my hips and back. I've had enough!!! I bought a home gym and have been working out for 3 months. I've lost 15 lbs. I feel stronger, and there's less pain. I was afraid to increase the weight, fearful of building too much muscle and thus looking fatter. Last week, I changed my mind. I started increasing the weight and I am feeling like I'm doing something now. I feel stronger. I will continue this route as long as I feel good. I want my body fat in the single digits. I was there oncee before, I can get there again.
