I have always been into sports, volleyball, tennis, surfing, etc. So working out was a part of my life but what truly got me started in the "bodybuilding world" was meeting my amazing husband, Layne.
Why I Love It:
My passion and motivation comes from knowing how much this sport has brought to Layne’s life. Meeting and getting to know people in this sport along with their trials and tribulations is truly inspiring.
How I Stay Motivated:
My desire to compete.
BB Accomplishments:
I guess my biggest accomplishment in this sport woulb be, to be a part of Layne's web-cast. It's really cool! Also pushing 500 lbs on a leg press and doing rack chins with 65 lbs DBs!! :)!

Not only is he the best husband a woman could ever want, but he has inspired me to reach for the stars and go for my dreams. His work ethic, dedication and passion are incredible. He works harder and smarter than anyone that I have ever met. LOVE YOU HONEY!! :)
Legs days are not my favorite days, but I get it done! I injured my lower back about a year ago and was unable to squat for the longest time. My husband recently purchased a safety squt bar and I love it! So I have been using that along with single legged lunges on a smith machine. I also do leg extensions, leg curls, stiff legged deadlifts and glute ham raises. Now those are harder than they look! :-)Legs days are not my favorite days, but I get it done! What back workout has worked best for you?
I usually split my back days into two days, I will focus on widening one day and in thickening the next. Here are some of the exercises that I do: Wide and narrow grip cable rows, dumbbell pullovers, semi-wide grip pull ups, dead lifts, pull-ups. My favorite work out for back has to be weighted rack chins. Super setting those with narrow or wide grip pull downs. I've been working hard on building muscle all winter. I laid off the cardio for a while and focused on lifting heavy and eating clean with a couple good meals in between. Now I have cleaned up the diet and I've been adding the cardio back in little by little. The fat is stating to zap off...last bit of stubborn fat doesn't seem to want to let go. So I just have to keep at it!
Once again great job Izzie, that is alot of work to prep for 3 seperate shows. After your experience, do you see yourself competeing again? You did awesome your first time out!
