How I Started:
I had gained quite a bit of weight since finishing HS and I was feeling really crappy about myself (my fat pants were tight!) so I decided to join a the YMCA in the begining of 2007. I lost about 10lbs and then they messed up my banking information and canceled my membership! Also at this time my brother committed suicide and I honestly had no motivation to do anything for a long time. Then this past spring one of my co-workers got me to join the gym down the street for the awesome price of $10/month, how could I say no?? So I started working out with her and have accumulated a lot of gym going/bodybuilding/figure competing clients for massage. Seeing how awesome their bodies look and talking to them about how much they love it is really motivating. I also got my boyfriend into going with me and we do our weight training together. I find when you surround yourself with something it's a lot easier to commit to it!

They more I do it, the more results I see and the better I feel
How I Stay Motivated:
My boyfriend really helps keep me motivated by working out with me.

Got my run up to 9 miles today :-D.  6 more to go haha.  Took me 1hr 33 mins.  I'm soo slow...blah.  I mean I guess it's not bad considering less then a year ago I couldn't run 1 mile.

hmmm. ok try this for a little while. start using you weak leg as your strong leg. what is probably happening is that your strong leg is getting strronger while you weak leg isnt. we need to try and even them out. lets see if that works
