My husband drags me out of bed kicking and screaming. LOL.
Why I Love It:
Looking better, feeling good. Still working on it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I shall not die, but live, then boast about the works of the Lord. Psalm 118
I have a burning desire to share all of my research on natural cancer prevention & treatment, so I have to keep going, and keep myself healthy. There are so many specific nutrients our body needs that we can take. Most doctors just don't know, or want to know about them so we must take responsibility for our own health now. And yes, my husband & I actually heard these words, a Radiation Oncologist here in town said that "nutritional supplements cause expensive urine"!
I plan on staying away from him!
BB Accomplishments:
Beat breast cancer and now in the best shape of my life!
Learning how to combine the diet with the activity an not just work on one at a time.

What is the best type of protein for you?
Whey Isolate
Why is this type of protein best?
I hear conflicting info about soy so I stay away from it. I think my supplement has casein in it also. I have a hard time with large amounts of protein, so I take digestive enzymes with it.
I'm going to start the Group Power class again...tomorrow am @ 5:30, yuk. I haven't done it for about a year & a half. I took it last week once to check it out, and was actually sore afterwards. It's a good thing! It's a no-brainer that works everything, and that's what I need! At least...
Hi! I just happened upon your profile and found it very inspirational! Part of the reason I want to get healthy and fit is to prevent cancer. A lot of my family members have had it and I know I'm very high risk. Congratulations to you for being strong and working hard!
I can't complain...they have been a little sporadic but with school and work I should expect that....I have started to switch things up and write in a journal everyday for workouts and food....so that is definitely helping. How are you feeling otherwise?
Thank you Sue my fellow RN. I love your goal. I'm working on that too :-) Free radicals and how they are relased into the body when you eat like a pig def have some correlation with cancer. I have been doing a lot of research about this :-)It is very interesting. Best of luck to you :)
Sue, my heart goes out to people who walked the cancer path. Docters told me 4yrs ago I got 3 yrs to live. I could have accepted it and died, but I first moved very closer to Christ and following His ways and then started living very healthy and well, it's 4 yrs later plus the Lord blessed me and wife last year with a baby boy (after 17 yrs of marriage). God is great and I pray with and for you that you will stay healthy and cancer-free now. Stay strong nurse. Gert
Well Sue, I must take my hat off to YOU! You are some kinda' INSPIRATION to us all. And we both are proud of our "studly" husbands. Some more studlier than others (lol). Take Care. *smile*
