When I Started:
Apr, 2007
How I Started:
I got started working out originally in high school as I decided to take weight training rather than gym. The girls thought it was too "boyish" but I loved feeling strong. I only wish I had stuck with it. Fast forward to now: I recently got started again because I want to feel good about what I see in the mirror. I want to wear halter tops again and I want to one day be able to sport a bathing suit again (haven't rocked one since 1990).
Why I Love It:
I love, love, LOVE the way weightlifting makes me feel! I ove challenging myself...pushing myself to see just how far I can go. I want to see just what I am capable of.
How I Stay Motivated:
Visualizing myself in one of those show bikinis, wanting to see if I can surpass my own expectations, and making every other woman in my gym with killer abs and legs my fiercest competition. :-)
BB Accomplishments:
None yet but stay tuned....

Overall, I want to add lean muscle, burn this EXCESS fat, and really develop some nice muscle definitionl
Goal (Long):
Long term, I want to weigh between 120-125 pounds. I'm 5'2 so I can't afford to carry too much weight. I want to whittle my waist so that I can find what used to be my waistline, define my entire back, create some beautiful arms and shoulders definition, and firm my thighs. And of course I can not forget to mention the fact that I want sexy abs.
Okay, so my last entry found me feeling ambiguous about my workouts and my potential progress. Since that time, I have finally developed a system which I think is actually working. It's challenging for those of us who are so busy or get so distracted by the noise around us that we don't...
lets keep it going... i am suffering with u...so u not alone.. keep ya eye on the prize

I'm so glad to hear you mention the low energy, I thought it was just me- Adjusting to eating well is the hardest part for me- I feel jittery, weak, and have zero energy- I know it just a process, but it makes me wanna dive into a pan of brownies and wash it down with a mt. dew!?! keep working hard!
