How I Started:
I started working out way back in HS around 1994 when I was taking martial arts. Then got more knowledgeable and started adding supplements when I was in the USMC from 1997-2001. Joined the USMC @ 130lbs and left at 160lbs. Now it is May 2008 and I am currently 185lbs and starting my workout program again after 7 years of being fat :(
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel good, look good. Builds up my confidence and self-esteem.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at my self in the mirror and knowing that I will soon look better. Psyching myself out for what is up ahead!

This is taken 1 week after I started working out again after a 7 year hiatus.
185lbs and started the week off highly motivated and can't wait to see how I will look like in the next few months!
What supplements do you take immediately before your workout? Why?
GlycerGrow + GreenMag in 10-16oz Water 30-45minutes Pre-workout.
When I am tired or feel the need for an extra boost, I may take White Flood 1/week with GreenMag.

I forgot to add this in my blog when I started it.
But the monday after I finished the 30 day REDuction Contest (on 7/28/08 to be exact) I started the StrongLifts 5x5 Beginner Strength Training Program!
I was going to do Rippletoe's but decided to try out StrongLift's 5x5 instead...
hey man good to see you are getting into training again. See you were in the USMC, what division? I was thinking about joining it, if i get an American citizenship and live over there could i join, or do you have to be American? Something I've always thought of doing. Laters man.
