I started in January 2003- Read my transformation of the week here on bodybuilding.com ( March 2007) and it explains all of what brought me to where I am today.Initially I started out just to get into shape but SERIOUSLY started training in August 2006,with the hopes of competing, and WINNING my first show. I say WIN because -I am not doing this not as a joke,not to get "cat calls" or to get the most views in my site, this has been my life: hard work, no sleep, lousy bland food, and Ive lost friends along the way because of my quest and even took a hiatus from school for it.This is another job for me, one in which I do not get paid, one that I love to do - my payment is the motivating comments I receive here, and the other 40+ men and women who say that I am an inspiration to them, and I thank you for that.
I am here to show my progress. I not here to have a "pity party" no need for that here. We are here, or at least I am to LEARN, GAIN AND GROW.....and inspire as many young and old men and women to achieve their desire to be and remain physically fit.
I went from Cow to Wow!! in ten months.
Why I Love It:
Showing the "kiddies" in the gym that yes a woman can lift "man-weight" not 5 lb dumb bells....either .. thank you : )
How I Stay Motivated:
This is tricky- motivation for me is difficult. I have my ups and downs- The mirror tells all- and of course the comments like "YOUR HOW OLD????" keeps me going, remember -- I am 2 years away from being fifty HELL! thats half a century!!--yes my body feels it sometimes, but I don't look my age- and NEVER WILL.

thanks kat for the info. change up my cardio 4 day HIIT 20 minutes 1 minute on 1 minute off and 5 coold down the other 2 day 45 minute lower heart rate. Started using calorie king for my food 50-55% protein, 20-25% fat and 12-20% for a total of no more that 1800 per day. this seel to help BUT gain musle but still the same weight
My training has been going pretty well, I have been on a liquid diet for a little over a month. Due to my upper Jaw surgery. I have lost 45 pounds since Dec. I am proud...im glad i havent lost any of my strength..so i am getting cut up. How bout you?
Hi Kat, hows things going for you. I am really putting a lot more effort and focus in my training - having people like you on here really makes me work a lot, lot harder!!! I am determined to keep it 'all natural' too. Hope the sun is shining where you are.
Kat, my motivational muse! I'm traveling right now, but prepped with an intense two-day session. So hard to train on the desert hi-way. Read u were doing a photo shoot. Can't wait to stand in line and get an autographed poster...:) What's up with u?
AS I wrote you before, there is nothin' I cane give you you already haven't got. YOUr body is perfect, so no sweets for you, your mind is at high level, so there are no books for you. THan, I can send you just a sweet kissies and a big hug, to warm your heart. Have an pleasent day!!!
