OVERALL RATING
I didn't walk away with my first pro win this weekend but I'm back on top as the Point Leader for the Olympia. I should have enough to to qualify but we'll have to keep an eye on things and see if I need to do one more show before the O or not. After putting so much into this show I need to stop and take a breath for a moment and get focused on the other important aspects of my life that take a back burner when I'm competing. Like business!! I feel like I've improved at every show I've done, but there is still room for some improvement. The feed back I got from this show was that since I had to fully deplete myself to make weight at 10:30 the night before the show, the food and water I had to consume to fill back out and get the energy to compete, sat in my stomach and was noticeable to the judges at certain times. I wish they'd let us lock in a height for the season so this doesn't happen. Had I measured at the same height as previous shows, I would of came in on point like I was paced to do. Also, there are some tweaks to my posing that I need to perfect before the O. That's come a long a ways since my first Classic Physique show though. Always look for the positive in any loss.
