I look at macros a little different now. My theory is that the macros don't really matter, and it just comes down to calories providing you are getting enough protein. So as long as your calories balance it doesn't matter if you're 10g over in protein and 10g under on carbs or vice versa. Or if you're 10g under on carbs and 4.44g over on fats, as long as the calories balance to your target calories based on your target macros within reason of course. I try to be within 40 kcal of each macro. Mainly cause I'm not going to measure out 2/3 of a scoop of whey ever. I'd rather eliminate whey than weigh out my protein powder. If I'm 10g over protein, I'll just go 10g under carbs, or 4.44g under fats to balance my total calories.
