This is what part of my day has consisted of: reading and writing. Babysat kids this morning and now again in the afternoon. Did I have time to workout? Yup. Do I still have time to workout? Yup. Am I gonna do it? Nope. And that's ok. Zero guilt and zero shame. Because one less day isn't going to obliterate all my progress. And today, today I want to invest those extra 60 minutes in reading and planning the coming week. And I am a-okay with that. Some days workouts don't happen. Whether it's by choice or by accident. Big deal. MOVE ON! The more time we spend engaging in negative self-talk, the less time we're spending in moving forward! There is zero shame and zero guilt to be found in missing a training session. It happens, life happens. And, you literally have your WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE still ahead of you. Thousands of days. One missed training day? No big deal.
