Transformations take time. A LOT of it! ?I want to laugh (or scream) when I hear people say they started a new program 1-4 weeks ago, but they don't think it's working because the number on the scale went up or they don't see results yet. I don't mean "laugh" in a condescending way. I mean, I want to join in and say, "wouldn't it be nice if it worked that fast?!" ? I've gotten messages, positive and negative, telling me I don't have to try as hard because I'm already thin or "your body looks great? Why are you trying to change it?" It's hard for many out there to understand when you go from "skinny fat" to toned. Our eyes can easily compare a larger body transforming into a smaller body, but it takes a good eye to notice a small body transforming into a toned, lifted and healthy body. That's me! wink emoticon ?The truth is, I have goals just like everyone else. I have struggles every day too. Some days, I just want to sleep instead of prep my meals or go to the gym. Some days, I don't feel like I gave my all in a workout. Some nights, I want to eat everything in my pantry just because it looks like it would taste good. A lot of days, I want faster results. We all have our own goals and struggles, BUT we can all put our minds to it and get it done. ?I still have a ways to go, and I don't know if I'll ever reach a point where I feel like it's time to stop pushing myself, but I love my body each day and I love watching the small changes as I trust the process and do the work!
