2008 vs 2015

Left photo: 2008, 15 years old. Not the best photo quality but you can clearly see my lil toothpick arms. I went to the gym regularly but I was a cardio junkie and I lived for indoor spin, outdoor running, and group ex classes. I ate decently as compared to most 15 year olds but I was just getting interested in nutrition. I had restrictive tendencies with no concept of balance. (ALSO WHO LET ME DYE MY HAIR BROWN AND WEAR THAT DRESS.yikes.) Right photo: repost from a few days ago. Currently lifting 5-6x weekly with minimal cardio and consuming close to 2-3x more than I was in the left photo. It's fun to look back on how far you've come when your mind is playing tricks on you. It takes time, dedication, and consistency. That's the best advice I can ever give to someone. Often people will ask me what they should be eating, how much cardio they should be doing, how to lift, what supplements to take etc....the truth is, you can have the best training and nutrition program in the whole world but it will only work as well as you do.
