People ask me all the time how I stay so motivated....I don't. But sometimes it's not about being motivated or inspired but rather simply staying strong and true to a promise YOU set out for yourself... Today has been looooong. Rise and Grind began at 3am followed by 7 hours of training. This day is just half way over and I still have 5 more hours of commitment ahead of me..... I tried to convince myself 'just do it later Jill...." But I have a little league game to cheer loud at and that ALWAYs takes precedence over prep......so while most everyone is soaking up the sunshine with iced teas or coffee break strolls, I pretended I was outside running on a beach as I soaked myself swassy on MY stepper!! I think all too often we focus on how much more we have to do....how many more weeks, days, minutes lie ahead. We forget to consider all the weeks, the days, the minutes we have put in to get thus far. So rather than focus on the next 30 minutes ahead of me, the next 18 days that still await me.....I reminisced about a time 20 weeks ago, where I was likely feeling the exact same about the moment I'm currently in....and guess what ...I.MADE.IT..(you will too) Remember: far from where we once were....
