Yesterday, I was able to hit over double body weight on my box squat (275x1). I probably could have added more weight or a couple more reps, but I got a little nervous (I also wasn't lifting in chucks, so, unracking and re-racking the bar was a little wobbly due to the padding in the soles of my shoes). A lot of people say you shouldn't focus on hitting PRs while in a cut, but I don't want to be like "most people". I want to crush the competition. Believing in yourself is half of the battle.
